Attention 7th Graders
If you are interested running for Student Body President or Vice-President for the first trimester of the 2012-2013 school year. Please see Mr. Carlson in room 210 for additional details and to pick up your election materials. The campaign speeches and election will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd – which is only two weeks away.
Speech and Debate Performance Night
All Vikings and their families are invited to Performance Night on May 23rd at 7:00-8:15 in the Northwest Little Theatre. Come see members of the State Championship Speech and Debate Team perform for you. See why this team has won State nine consecutive times! Free cookies and lemonade before the show, thanks to a generous donation from our sponsor, Hills Bank and Trust. Be there or be square! Questions? Ask Mrs. Keech in room 219.
PE Locker Cleanout
Students , PE locker cleanout will be this Tuesday and Wednesday the last 10 minutes of your PE class. You will need to bring a bag for your items and you must take them with you at the end of your PE class. At the end of the day on Thursday all lockers will be emptied and clothing will be put in one large laundry bin – we will not be bagging your items for you if you have not cleaned out your locker.
Girls swimming and Diving
You are invited to the West High Girls Swimming and Diving informational meeting for the Fall 2012 season
Who: All girls (and a parent or guardian) interested in swimming or diving with the WHS girls team next fall
Where: Room 8, West High School (enter through the main entrance, go downstairs and the room is off to your right)
When: 7-8 p.m. on May 23, 2012
Meet the coaches and other swimmers and divers, learn more about the program, and get your forms to order suits, caps and other items.
