Kirkwood Family Resource Center

The Kirkwood Family Resource Center (FRC) provides support, resources and referrals to families with children attending Kirkwood Elementary School. All programs and services are FREE of charge and available to all Kirkwood families.

Kirkwood FRC Mission

To improve the quality of life for the families of Kirkwood Elementary and to promote increased student achievement by supporting families, students and school staff.

FRC Programs

LIFT-Learning Involves Family Ties. LIFT gives families the opportunity to work closely with an FRC staff member on needs ranging from parenting, to school needs, to basic needs. Families direct the service to meet their personal goals and needs.

Johnson County Empowerment-Empowerment provides in-home family support and education to families with children ages birth-5 years old. A Family Support Worker meets with the family at least twice a month with visits focused on imforming and supporting parents through engaging parent/child activities specifically geared towards your child's development and needs.
