NW Students Learn about Veterans
Recently US Army vetran Eric Smith met with NW 8th graders to tell them of his experiences in the US military for seven years. Eric went to NW 1997 to 1999 and graduated from West High in 2003. In the coming weeks, NW 8th graders will use their homeroom time to participate in activities designed to support troops in overseas deployments. Intramural Activity
The next intramural activity will be a free throw shooting contest. The contest is for both boys and girls and will be divided by grade level. Participants should just show up in the gym before school and give it a shot!
Girls Basketball and Boys Swimming
If you are interested in Girls Basketball or Boys Swimming please sign up in the main office. You must have a current athletic physical and permission to practice form on file in order to participate. Practice begins on Monday, December 7th. Swimmers make sure you bring your suit, towel and goggles for first day of practice.
